Come and spend the day with these amazing creatures and find out just how clever they are! We won’t tell you here but what we will tell you is that we can give you a 99.999% chance to be up close and personal to these animals. When you arrive at the site you will be blown away by what you will see. When we visited in 2024 we had no less than 5 Whale Sharks waiting for us and guess what? We were the only divers there to see them.

The Whale Sharks are very inquisitive and love to come up close as you will see in the pictures. Remember all of the pictures on our website of the marine life are what we take on our research trips. No false advertising, just the real encounters we experience and what we take you to experience.

There is no mass feeding, no nets to keep them in the area they are just there. We know why they come to this area and once you arrive you will see why too. you will be blown away by how clever these animals are.

Dive UK Travel take the welfare of all marine life very seriously and totally object to places like Oslob in the Philippines where the Whale Sharks are kept captive by nets and are fed to keep them in the area. The Whale Sharks stay there because of the free food. In Borneo you will see no nets keeping them there and no humans are feeding them to keep them there.

The trip to see the Whale Sharks is a long one but totally worth the 2hr trip, we start very early but you will not regret it. Seeing these animals in their natural habitat is something very special and we certainly rubbed our hands together when we discovered this destination.
