When we first visited Alor, we were very shocked of how dense the Coral was, very little damage and super colourful gardens and walls you could admire for hours. When I write about Alor, it gives me goose bumps and we cannot wait to go back.
Because the Coral is so healthy the marine life is flourishing. No wonder Alor is home to some huge schools of fish including Jacks, Barracuda, Huge bump head parrot fish and much more. The marine life is really non-stop and your eyes will be very happy you made the choice to visit Alor.
Along with dense healthy corals and huge amounts of life this also bring larger life to the area. Most days you will see a huge pod of dolphins following the boats, several sites have resident Grey Reef Sharks and Blacktip Reef sharks too. We have seen Mola Mola and Thresher Sharks in Alor and you can often see Hammerheads and Whales too although we were unlucky to see these on out last visit.
